Current Mood: crushed crushed
Current Music: Fool in the Rain - Led Zeppelin

Well there's a light in your eye that keeps shining
Like a star that can't wait for the night
I hate to think I've been blinded baby
Why can't I see you tonight?

And the warmth of your smile starts a-burnin'
And the thrill of your touch gives me fright
And I'm shaking so much, really yearning
Why don't you show up, make it all right?
Yeah, it's all right.

And if you promised you'd love so completely
and you said you would always be true
You swore that you would never leave me, baby:
What ever happened to you?

And you thought it was only in movies
As you wish all your dreams would come true
It ain't the first time believe me, baby
I'm standin here feeling blue
Yeah I'm blue

Now I will stand in the rain on the corner
I'll watch the people go shuffling downtown
Another ten minutes no longer
And then I'm turning around

The clock on the wall's moving slower
My heart it sinks to the ground
And the storm that I thought would blow over
Clouds the light of the love that I found

Now my body is starting to quiver
And the palms of my hands getting wet
I've got no reason to doubt you baby,
It's all a terrible mess

I'll run in the rain till I'm breathless
When I'm breathless I'll run till I drop, hey
The thoughts of a fool's kind of careless
I'm just a fool waiting on the wrong block, oh yeah
Light of the love that I found...

Your Personality Is Like Acid

A bit wacky, you're very difficult to predict.
One moment you're in your own little happy universe...
And the next, you're on a bad trip to your own personal hell!

The Value of a Drink! @ 05:34 pm

Current Music: Thunderstorm

Some cute quotes my mom sent me!

"Sometimes when I reflect back on all the wine I drink
I feel shame. Then I look into the glass and think
about the workers in the vineyards and all of their hopes
and dreams . If I didn't drink this wine, they might be out
of work and their dreams would be shattered.

Then I say to myself, "It is better that I drink this wine and let their
dreams come true than be selfish and worry about my liver."
~ Jack Handy

"I feel sorry for people who don't drink. When they
wake up in the morning, that's as good as they're
going to feel all day. " !
~Frank Sinatra

"When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading."

And saving the best for last, as explained by Cliff Clavin, of Cheers.

One afternoon at Cheers, Cliff Clavin was explaining the Buffalo Theory to his buddy Norm.
Here's how it went:

"Well ya see, Norm, it's like this... A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first . This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members. In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Excessive intake of alcohol, as we know, kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eli minates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. That's why you always feel smarter after a few beers."

WARNING: The consumption of alcohol may make you think you are whispering when you are not

Its My Birthday!! @ 09:38 am

Current Mood: giddy giddy
Current Music: Ginuwine

Well, first, I would like to thank [info]bitfiend and [info]whisteriansky for hosting the party and letting us destroy their home for the celebration of mine and [info]tambot's Birthday.  I hope everyone had as good of a time as I did!!  From what I could tell they did!  I had a great time getting drunk and meeting new friends and the ones I already knew!  That was by far my best birthday party.  I didnt even go to sleep until Sunday night!  However, I did lose my keys.  But eventually they were found somewhere they shouldn't have been!!!!  Sunday afternoon a lot of us went over to [info]tambot's house.  I got to meet her parents, who are very nice.  They grilled steaks for us!  We had some very tasty cakes as well!  Until next time.....

We just got back from Birmingham. I had an AMAZING time! We hung out. I had my first bar hopping experience. I made a fantastic mess out of my philly cheese sub. We ate brunch at a cozy little place called Rojo's. I saw the Vulcan for the first time! Then I came home to a nasty list of tasks that had to be finished. Laundry, cleaning up my comp room. YUCK! The rest of the night is to be devoted to cookies, milk, and movies though!

Salesmen!? @ 01:53 pm

Current Mood: amused amused
Current Music: Elvis (work radio!)

What an odd day! We sold a car first thing this morning. Nothing has happened since! The salesmen have moved (in herds). First, they were surrounding the tv while watching the Olympics. Where they also demonstrated some of the moves! Ha! We watched some of an OLD home video. (Complete w/ a black maid!) Now they are all in the middle of the showroom talking about movies, while re-inacting scenes from Friday and Napoleon Dynamite!! I really do enjoy my job most of the time. I cant wait to finally head out though!!

I hope everyone's Valentine's Day was full of LOVE!!! These past couple of days we have been getting busier at work! I am glad! This summer should be full of work (and money)!! I am very excited about Birmingham this weekend!! I don't think I have ever been! Last night, I watched the Exorcism of Emily Rose! Has anyone seen that?!? WOW. I talked to my mommy today for like 20 minutes. Sometimes I really miss her. I don't care how childish that sounds. ha ha!

Gatlinburg! @ 11:08 am

Wow! There has been a lot of unnecessary drama over this trip, but only yesterday. I am glad that everything has finally worked out, and every one is content and excited yet again! Even though I have yet to meet Jason and Sam, I trust we will have a marvelous time! Last night we went to Casa Blanca with some friends and we had a blast!! I love being around a kid every now and then!! I still have gift certificates leftover from Christmas that need to be spent so I will HAVE to go shopping this week as well. I am just waiting for summer now!
